Alle anderen hatten mehr PS und Turbomotoren. Besonders im Gebirge bei Steigungen ging unserem Fahrzeug mit seinem 7,5 Tonnen Gesamtgewicht die Puste aus.<\/p>\n<p>Daher fuhren wir immer an zweiter Stelle, direkt nach dem F\u00fchrungsfahrzeug mit den beiden Guides und dem Dolmetscher an Bord. Am Ende des kleinen Konvois immer der kleinste und schnellste Wagen, der Iveco Daily in Offroad-Ausf\u00fchrung und entsprechender Ausstattung. Die beiden Insassen haben sich h\u00e4ufig gelangweilt, konnten aber ein paar zus\u00e4tzliche Foto-Stopps einlegen, weil sie uns leicht wieder eingeholt haben.<\/p>\n<p>Im Mittleren Atlas habe ich aber dennoch versucht, den Unimog so flott wie m\u00f6glich voranzutreiben, bei Steigungen wie bei Abfahrten. Wobei das Fahren im marokkanischen Gebirge, egal welcher Teil, immer nur aus hoch- und wieder runterfahren in endlosen Serpentinen vonstatten geht.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erneut Problemb\u00e4r: die Bremsen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Irgendwann bei einer Abfahrt habe ich dann beim Bremsen ins Leere getreten, Bremsversagen! Ziemlich brenzlige Situation, ich musste zwei- bis dreimal schnell Nachtreten, dann kam der Unimog \u00a0doch noch vor bzw. in einer Kehrtwende zum Stehen.<\/p>\n<p>Aus den beiden Beh\u00e4ltern kochte die Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeit heraus, Luftblasen gurgelten &#8211; alles klar. Die Kinder m\u00fcssen dazu teilweise aus weitab liegenden D\u00f6rfern und H\u00e4usern zu Fu\u00df kommen, d.h. durch die Berge wandern &#8211; und nat\u00fcrlich fr\u00fch dazu aufstehen&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Am n\u00e4chsten Tag stand nahe Azilai-Tilougguite als Seminar-Thema &#8211; immerhin befanden wir uns ja eigentlich auf einer Trainings-Fahrt &#8211; eine Flussdurchfahrt auf dem Programm. F\u00fcr den Unimog war dann die Durchfahrt ein Kinderspiel &#8211; kein Wunder bei 1,20 Meter Wat-Tiefe&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Der Schrottplanet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeit unseres Fahrzeug war damit aber immer noch nicht gewechselt. Wir fuhren also noch zig Kilometer bangen Herzens bei jedem Bremsen weiter, bis wir die Stadt <a href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Beni-Mellal\" target=\"_blank\">Beni Mellal<\/a> erreichten. Jede Auffahrt mit der Gewissheit verbunden, dass man diese Strecke auch wieder herabfahren muss&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>In Beni Mellal\u00a0fanden wir eine Lkw-Werkstatt, eine v\u00f6llig obskure Ansammlung von kaputten Fahrzeugen, Ersatzteilen, \u00d6l, Dreck und schmutzigen Menschen &#8211; eine Kulisse wie f\u00fcr einen bizarren Science-Fiction-Film namens &#8222;Der Schrottplanet&#8220;. Der Werkstattmeister weigerte sich erst, die Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeit zu tauschen &#8211; diese sei doch v\u00f6llig in Ordnung, meinte er wiederholt.
